Senior iOS Full Stack Software Engineer — Social Audiovisual, AI and XR Integration

Overview

Own the iOS heart of Yuhmmy — the social audiovisual app where taste, flavor, and social expression meet AI and XR. You will build end-to-end: native experiences on the front, real-time media and AI services behind them.

Yuhmmy is Labs' flagship consumer brand — a Tastertainment™ platform amplifying how humans discover, share, and celebrate taste. This role turns frontier XR and AI capability into something millions will hold in their hands.

What you'll do

• Design and ship core iOS surfaces in Swift/SwiftUI — feed, capture, playback, and social layers
• Integrate ARKit/RealityKit experiences (Taste Effects™, characters, spatial overlays) into everyday flows
• Build the audiovisual pipeline: capture, encode, stream, and sync with AVFoundation, Metal, and WebRTC
• Bring on-device and served AI into the product with CoreML plus Labs model services
• Own full-stack slices — GraphQL APIs, Node.js services, PostgreSQL data models
• Set the engineering bar: reviews, profiling, crash-free releases, App Store excellence

Minimum qualifications

• 6+ years shipping production iOS apps, with at least one at consumer scale
• Deep Swift plus modern SwiftUI; comfort dropping to UIKit and Metal when it matters
• Real-time audio/video experience (AVFoundation, codecs, streaming)
• Full-stack fluency: designing and operating APIs and services you consume

Preferred qualifications

• ARKit/RealityKit or other spatial-computing production work
• On-device ML deployment (CoreML, quantization, latency budgets)
• WebRTC or low-latency social/media systems at scale

• Creator-tool or camera-app background
• Haptics and sensory UX curiosity
• Startup zero-to-one scars
