The year we start counting.
Labs Impact is new. Rather than describe a record that does not exist yet, we are publishing the starting line: 2027 is the first full year Labs Impact operates as a program, and it becomes the baseline every year after it is measured against.
What gets counted
The areas set out on this page — social investment, health and wellbeing, equity and accessibility, sustainability, community, and governance — each with the method stated alongside the number.
When it is published
The first reports arrive at year-end 2027, and annually from then on. Where a measure is not yet ready to report, we intend to say so rather than leave it out.
Who holds it
The Labs Impact Council reviews what is reported and is accountable for it, alongside board oversight of ethics and responsible AI.
