What you'll do

• Set and execute research directions in reasoning, agents, and alignment
• Design evaluations for capabilities that do not have benchmarks yet
• Scale experiments with the Frontier Models team
• Publish and represent Labs research externally

Minimum qualifications

• Substantial research record in RL, reasoning, or agentic systems
• Large-scale experimentation experience
• Strong scientific writing

Preferred qualifications

• Interpretability or alignment research
• Systems performance skills

Nice to have

• Open-source research tools
• Teaching or mentoring history
