Duránd F. Davis Jr. — also known as DJ DEVO — is a Choctaw Aboriginal American founder-funder, internet entrepreneur, software engineer, investor, and venture capitalist. He is the creator of the Yuhmmy App and the founder of Labs Companies, Inc., a Frontier Intelligences Supercompany.
As Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Family of Firms and its investment vehicles, Duránd began his private equity career at 17. Born in Chicago and raised in Detroit, his path runs from Lavish Line Records, a boutique digital label, through LavLabs, a startup studio, to Labs — a fresh canvas for advancing human capabilities.
Now living in Beverly Hills, Duránd is committed to reducing the global burden of asthma and advancing anti-aging and longevity technologies. He and Maya advocate for a healthy vegan lifestyle while raising their nine children.
